3M 5958FR VHB Tape is a 40 mil black acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a red polyethylene liner. The FR designation indicates flame retardant, self-extinguishing construction — a specification requirement in industries where fire resistance is mandated — setting it apart from standard VHB offerings.
This tape is built for structural bonding in demanding environments.
