3M™ 4910 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 40 mil clear acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a red polyethylene film liner. Its fully transparent construction delivers a permanent, load-bearing bond on glass, polycarbonate, acrylic, and other smooth, high-surface-energy substrates — with no visible hardware or fasteners in the finished assembly.
The tape is well suited for mounting translucent and backlit signage, bonding architectural glazing components, edge-bonding resin-filled glass panels, and attaching decorative or functional trim elements in retail, commercial construction, and display fabrication environments where a clean, colorless bond line is required.
The acrylic foam core conforms to slightly irregular surfaces while maintaining structural integrity, and the adhesive system resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure across a service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F. Sold as 1 roll per unit, ships via parcel carrier.
