18 x 18" VCI Paper 30 lb. Sheets

These 18 x 18 inch VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) paper sheets are manufactured at a 30 lb. basis weight and chemically treated to release corrosion-inhibiting vapors that shield ferrous metal parts from rust, oxidation, and corrosion during storage and transit. Protection forms automatically within any enclosed space — no direct contact between the paper and the metal surface is required for the inhibiting vapor envelope to take effect.

VCI paper serves manufacturing lines, metalworking shops, distribution centers, and MRO operations where uncoated steel, cast iron, and other ferrous components must be protected between production stages or during outbound shipment. Individual part wrapping provides maximum inhibitor exposure, while interleaving sheets between stacked components offers practical protection for flat or nested parts.

Each case contains 500 sheets. As a general usage guideline, one square foot of VCI paper per cubic foot of enclosed packaging volume is recommended. The 18 x 18 inch sheet size suits small-to-mid-sized components and fits standard wrapping workflows without trimming.
