These 6 x 8 inch VCI reclosable poly bags are made from 4 mil low-density polyethylene film embedded with a volatile corrosion inhibitor. The VCI chemistry vaporizes inside the sealed bag, forming a protective molecular layer directly on metal surfaces to prevent rust, oxidation, and corrosion — no secondary wraps, coatings, or desiccants required.
The reclosable zipper seal supports repeated access while restoring a moisture and dust barrier each time the bag is closed. Transparent film allows visual identification and inventory picking without opening the package, reducing unnecessary handling in warehouse, kitting, and fulfillment environments. Manufacturers, distributors, and MRO operations use these bags for ferrous and non-ferrous hardware, tooling, fasteners, and precision components.
Each bag measures 6 x 8 inches and is constructed from 4 mil LDPE with integrated VCI chemistry — no post-treatment or activation step is needed. Cases contain 1,000 bags and ship via parcel carrier.
