This 4 mil VCI polyolefin film delivers continuous corrosion protection for metal components and assemblies throughout storage and transit. The volatile corrosion inhibitor chemistry releases molecules that migrate to metal surfaces, forming a protective layer that prevents rust and oxidation on carbon steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, and brass — without requiring cleaning or rework before the parts are put into service.
The wrap is well suited to metal fabrication shops, automotive parts suppliers, aerospace component storage, and industrial distribution environments where long-term corrosion control is critical. It performs reliably alongside residual protective oil coatings already present on parts, making it compatible with standard pre-shipment finishing workflows.
The film is heat-sealable and puncture- and tear-resistant, with good dead-fold retention for both manual and automated wrapping applications. It is odorless, non-toxic, and provides an effective moisture barrier. Each roll weighs approximately 36 lbs and is sold individually.
