3M™ 4016 Double Sided Foam Tape is a 3/4" wide, 36-yard roll built on a 1/16" open cell polyurethane foam carrier with a firm acrylic adhesive on both sides. The conformable foam distributes stress across bonded surfaces, accommodates irregular or uneven substrates, and provides cushioning and vibration dampening in assembled applications.
The acrylic adhesive system resists elevated temperatures and solvents, making this tape a strong fit for indoor mounting, bonding, and light assembly in manufacturing lines, electronics assembly, signage installation, and facilities where tape is shielded from direct environmental exposure. Recommended application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F.
