Central® 240 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a fiberglass-reinforced kraft tape engineered for permanent carton sealing. Fiberglass yarns are bonded between kraft paper layers, delivering tensile strength that standard paper tapes cannot match, while a patented water-activated starch adhesive bonds aggressively to corrugated surfaces — including corners, edges, and recycled-content board — becoming part of the carton fiber upon activation.
That fiber-level bond creates built-in tamper evidence: any removal attempt leaves visible damage to the box face. This makes the tape well suited for e-commerce fulfillment, manufacturing lines, distribution centers, and retail replenishment operations where shipment integrity and chain-of-custody documentation matter.
The fiberglass yarn separates cleanly during paper repulping, allowing sealed cartons to enter standard recycling streams. Each roll measures 72mm (approximately 2.83") wide by 375 feet and weighs approximately 2.45 lbs. Cases contain 8 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
