This smooth green polyester strapping measures 1/2" wide by 2,900 feet long, wound on a 16 x 3" core at .025" thickness. The smooth surface is compatible with serrated or sandpaper seals when used with standard strapping tools, and each case includes 2 coils for a combined weight of 43 lbs.
Polyester strapping is well suited for unitizing pallet loads, securing products to skids, and bundling in warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, and freight operations. It retains tension through transit and temperature fluctuations — a meaningful advantage over steel in environments where load shift or thermal cycling is a concern. The non-corrosive construction also eliminates rust contamination risk on finished goods or moisture-sensitive products.
At approximately 80% lighter than comparable steel strapping coils, this polyester option reduces operator fatigue and speeds line handling. Each coil weighs approximately 21.5 lbs.
