These 18 x 26 inch flat poly bags are manufactured from 100% virgin polyethylene film at a 6 mil thickness, placing them in the extra heavy-duty category. The increased wall thickness delivers strong resistance to punctures and tears — well above the protection level of standard 2 or 4 mil alternatives — and meets FDA and USDA specifications for direct food contact applications.
The 6 mil construction makes these bags a practical choice for food processing, manufacturing, and industrial distribution environments where packaged contents may be dense, abrasive, or irregularly shaped. The generous opening also accommodates multi-component kits, textile goods, and oversized flat items that lighter bags cannot reliably contain.
